BEATRIZ APONTE-VARGAS

Beatriz is the owner/founder of BellaU in Southlake, TX (formerly Bellísima Salon in Highland Village.) She is an elite hair stylist with more than 20 years of experience in the industry and is nationally recognized as among the top 3% of stylists in the salon/spa industry. Having had a long-standing partnership as a regional educator for Wella, she has overseen countless apprentices and been recognized with more than 35 artistry awards. Opening and managing Bellísima Salon in 2016 and then BellaU in 2022 were outstanding personal achievements. However, making a difference in the beauty industry by providing a one-on-one connection with clients, other stylists, and friends remains her most significant purpose and fuels a daily drive to bring quality experiences to those around her.

Bella” means beautiful in Spanish. Stepping away from high-intensity salons, she created BellaU as an elite, intimate hair studio in Southlake, TX. She believes that true beauty does come from within. So, her studio provides clients with lots of fun and sometimes intense conversations where they can rediscover who they are and walk out of with a pep in their step. Ultimately, she wants clients to feel at ease and know that BellaU is a safe place where you can be YOU. And if she can help someone – regardless of their background or experience — feel confident and beautiful simply by enhancing their look, then she feels accomplished. Her reward is when they return time and again and establish long-lasting relationships with clients who ultimately become friends. When not at the studio, Beatriz is out traveling with her wife or spoiling their 2.5 dogs – Fluffy, Sassy and 2lb-Chihuahua, Tinker Bell.

Madison is BellaU’s Studio Manager. With over seven years of customer services, her main focus is to provide an intimate and relaxed environment for the clients. Even though she is not behind the chair, she loves to form connections with every client. When she is not managing the studio, she focuses on her own business in professional home organization and hanging with her family.
